WHO LAUGHS LAST is a semi-dark humorous novel of manipulation, lust, psychological malpractice, insurance fraud, deceit, retribution, true love, and a twisted ending. MAIN CHARACTERS Ellen Lewis is seemingly innocent and without guile. She is resourceful and capable, but has unique morals. Pamela Kopf is a mail order psychologist who has mostly great personal integrity and a good sense of humor. But at times she can be eerily calculating or irrationally dramatic. Kimberly Keeney is an insurance broker who likes money, manipulation, getting her own way and being served. She¿s amazingly tolerant - or oblivious. Gregory Tannenbaum, grill owner and landlord, is flamboyant, gaudy and sometimes ditzey but mostly sensible and never pretentious or assuming. He loves attention and he loves to give. Roman Dupre is a hard working, good natured adonis who is willing to follow his heart.
